CREDITS

MECH.GAME’s in-game currency is known as CREDITS. It is the Off-Chain virtual utility currency for MECH.GAME.

Credits will exist in Locked and Unlocked states. When a player finishes a mission their total CREDITS earned will be split 50% to locked and 50% to unlocked CREDITS.

CREDITS are used as the in-game currency for both rewards, in-game purchases, marketplace purchases and in-game items and unlocks.

CREDITS is one of the needed resources used to power all the in-game creation and progression activities such as crafting, levelling up characters and equipment, unlocking new skills, and more.

CREDITS will be earned and rewarded to players every day for their participation via P2E gameplay. CREDITS will be destroyed via in-game activities.

CREDITS will have an unlimited supply available through gameplay rewards.

In-Game Use Of CREDITS

  • Rewards to player for daily P2E gameplay

  • Payment for NFT upgrades.

  • Payment for NFT repairs or healing

  • CREDITS will be required for all crafting, forging or breeding.

  • Purchases from the in-game store

Credit Points Can Be Converted Into $MECH Tokens

As an added benefit to players, earned Unlocked CREDITS can be converted into "Mech Tokens" on the website at the published credit/mech exchange rate if the player so chooses. This gives the player the option of converting any Unlocked Credits that are "unused" through gameplay, repairs or upgrades into mech tokens which can be used in the game as well or sent to their wallet.

The conversion rate for Unlocked CREDITS to $MECH tokens will be calculated through the following variables.

  • The “Mint/Burn Ratio of CREDITS for the week prior (circulating number of CREDITS at time of snapshot)

  • The percentage drip of $MECH tokens from the P2E treasury

CREDITS to $MECH conversion calculation is as follows:

($MECH tokens available from treasury drip that week) / (Circulating supply of Unlocked CREDITS)

At the end of each week a snapshot of circulating Unlocked CREDITS will be taken and for a limited time players will be able to swap their Unlocked CREDITS for MECH Points through the website.

With CREDITS being an off-chain utility system the purpose is not for players to earn, cash out and sell tokens to the market causing massive downward sell pressure on $MECH. The way we have designed the conversion rate rewards the economy when CREDITS are used as intended with high conversion rates and punish unintended used of CREDITS with lower conversion rates. The team will monitor any and all types of attempts to manipulate conversion rates of CREDITS.

// Example of a weekly ratio calculation:

At snapshot there was: 
-	100,000 Unlocked CREDITS earned throughout the week.
-	40,000 Unlocked CREDITS were used for breeding.
-	2500 Unlocked CREDITS were used for shop purchases.
-	1000 Unlocked CREDITS were used to continue games.

100,000 Unlocked CREDITS – 40,000-2500-1000 = 56,500 Unlocked
CREDITS in circulation at snapshot.

This week’s P2E treasury drip of $MECH 20,000 $MECH tokens 
that can be converted from CREDITS.

Therefore, 20,000/56,500 = 0.35 swap ratio

For every one CREDIT a player has they can swap for 0.35 $MECH tokens.

These MECH points will stay in a players inventory off-chain and can be used in-game or withdrawn to their MetaMask for on-chain $MECH tokens after the appropriate tax has been applied. (see $MECH withdraw tax)

This ratio calculation will be community wide at launch but is subject to change.
