# P2P NFT Leasing

The idea of NFT leasing is to allow players who own multiple core NFT's to monetize them without having to sell them.

This allows new or beginning players to play the game without having to buy NFT’s, or for example a player who has a mech and a commander, but needs a stronghold, they could lease it instead of buying/minting one.

The leasing system has the following functionality:

* NFT Owner determines length/duration of lease
* Owner can set the Percentage they are willing to give to the renter
* Owner can post the rental listing on the marketplace.
* Renter can view the rental listing and accept it if they choose.
* Rental system automatically handles the rest.
 * Player can start playing with the NFT and cancel if unsatisfied
 * Owner can monitor rental and cancel if unsatisfied
 * Earnings are automatically split and sent to each party
* One time gas fee for Rentals
